What was the story (Or Chapter) about? (Don’t give away the ending!)
Who were the characters in the book/ Chapter?
In 1 chapter they explain all about communication
how animal interact different such as the ant by leaving a trail so that they may follow it    
The animals is this book are Rhinos, orthotics ,mooses, cheetahs, dogs and many more from the animal kingdom
What was your favourite part in the book? Why was this your favourite part?
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why? Why not?
My favour part of this book is when they explain the mammal lifestyle such as sleep, how much they eat, how many gas is produce from them and how they explain the routines
I would recommend it to a friend who likes
what animal are the best at what such as running, sleeping, having a cold or hot temperature and more

Fiction or nonfiction: It’s fiction and nonfiction because it's based on a true story but fiction characters rather than real ones

What was the story (Or Chapter) about? (Don’t give away the ending!)
Who were the characters in the book/ Chapter?
The well is very important to Nya's life; she no longer has to walk 8 hours a day to get water and she gets the opportunity to go to school.  Nya thanks Salva for bringing the water to her. This book teaches the importance of water and family.
Salva a boy who was separated from his family and Nya who walks 8 hours for water every single day








What was your favourite part in the book? Why was this your favourite part?
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why? Why not?
I like how it was based on a true story but was made fiction by the author  
Yes I would recommend it to friends who likes true story based and friends that likes water a lot

The story was based around the animal kingdom and how different animal interact and how the live daily 
The characters in this book were
Crabs, Crocodiles, Cheetah, Adder, Manta ray,Pigs,Ants and many more from the animal kingdom 







What was your favourite part in the book? Why was this your favourite part?
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why? Why not?
My favourite part of the book was learning about how animals evolved and prehistoric life
To friends who would like animals and want to learn about a lot of facts

My persuasive writing work

Persuasive writing Term 4 Week 3

Instructions:
To prepare for this week’s persuasive writing task, complete each table below.
You need to come up with as many reasons as you can think of FOR and AGAINST the persuasive topic and we will use these ideas next week.
Remember:
  • Work with a buddy if you need to.
  • Complete each table
  • Make sure your reasons make sense.

I have done one for you as an example.
Purpose: To make a change.
There should be school on a Saturday.
FOR
AGAINST
  • If there is school on a Saturday we will get more learning done.
  • It will keep kids out of trouble if they need to be at school.
  • We can get work finished that we were not able to finish in the week.
  • We can spend more time with our schoolmates.
  • We won’t be able to spend much time with our family.
  • We won’t be able to get chores done and earn pocket money.
  • We won’t be able to get a part time job when we are old enough to because we will have to be at school.
  • We will be tired and won’t want to come to school on Mondays.

Purpose: To make a change.

  • People can get confused with an Australia flag
  • People may like the NEW design
  • May have a great meaning behind the flag
  • Some people will notice it better
  • Display our original flag that was given to New Zealand.
  • Thats mean we have to change our national anthem.
  • People will not like the new design.
  • Won’t display Union Jack.

Purpose: To get people to agree with you.
BK Whoppers are better than Mcd’s Big Macs.

AGAINST
  • How Burger King's serves their food to customers
  • The ingredients are better and healthy
  • Often on Burger King coupons
  • Good for a diet
  • Burger king is more expensive.
  • In the T.v. it looks like it’s actually big but it’s actually small.
  • Big Mac is bigger and it has more value
  • They have good meals and also they have a Mccafe.


Purpose: To make a change
WIS should sell sandwiches at the tuck shop.

AGAINST
  • People may want to eat healthy lunches
  • People may not have lunches but money today
  • A Quick lunch meaning more free time
  • Better than having pie everyday
  • People might not like it.
  • They might buy and taste it but they might not like it.
  • There will be no refunds.
  • People won't buy it that much.







Purpose: To prove something right.
Digital classrooms are better than pen and paper classes.

AGAINST
  • Better because much more faster writing
  • Helps saves the environment by reducing the paper we use daily
  • Very efficient for searching for a specific topic  
  • Great furnitures  for a modern day classroom



  • Uses to much eletricity
